Rael Martis
Ceo/Founder
Israel Martis is a Dutch-Caribbean professional and social-impact entrepreneur whose most important work centers on Stichting Burohelp, a Dutch Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) where he serves as founder and CEO.
Burohelp embodies his commitment to applying professional expertise to support PBOs in vulnerable financial situations, prioritizing community support and practical solutions over commercial gain.
Around this mission, Martis has built a long career in international business and technology, providing the experience and network he channels back into his non-profit activities. Educated in International Business & Commerce Management and shaped by early service in the Royal Dutch Marine Corps, he developed a disciplined, partnership-oriented leadership style. Previously, he has held senior roles at companies including Adobe, Ensighten, Instructure, and Momentive.ai, but Burohelp became the most direct and enduring expression of his values in action.

Mechanical Engineer and Director
Designer
Chilufya Lombe, a Mechanical Engineer and Director at both Solid Green Consulting and Solid Insight, working at the intersection of building design, operational performance, and the E in ESG. Across his career, Chilufya led the optimisation of more than 120 green buildings across Africa, specialising in energy modelling, building performance, and whole-building lifecycle sustainability. His career spans the full building lifecycle - from shaping design decisions in the early stages to ensuring those intentions translate into real, measurable performance in operation. This dual perspective allowed him to guide clients through their entire optimisation journey: establishing baselines, deploying smart metering and analytics, identifying inefficiencies, and driving interventions that deliver verifiable, real-world results.
